MEET VLAD.

Meet Vlad.

She's a four door hardtop 1967 Chevrolet Impala.

She joined our family in February 2013, after many years of neglect. As far as we know, she's only had one family before us - the grandson of the original owner sold her to us, and I believe his uncle owned her for a while.

T-Rex and I bought her as our 2nd wedding anniversary gift to each other. Our intention is to nurture Vlad back to health, and release her full potential, by helping her to get Back In Black.

It's going to be a long process, so we're starting this blog to track her transformation from start to finish. Neither of us have any experience restoring cars, and we have very little mechanical knowledge (though T-Rex is an engineer), so we will be learning as we go.

This is our pupper, Miss O'Hair, riding in the back. Shhh, don't tell Dean.
